Chemical Peels | Buckeye, AZ
Our skin is the biggest organ of our body. Its structure is not as simple as it appears to be. Instead, the skin consists of a few layers which vary in thickness, density and function. The most upper layer is the only visible one and that is where most of the aesthetic problems occur. A larger part of our skin cells is either damaged, grimed or completely dead which renders it useless. Getting rid of those useless cells with chemical peels leads to visible results.
A chemical peel involves applying a cosmetic product to your skin, which causes the dead skin to peel off. The old skin layer is replaced by a new one. The new rejuvenated skin layer becomes visible, and it is smoother, stronger, healthier and better looking. You will be surprised by the result!
VI Peel is our preferred product because it penetrates even deeper into the dermal layer of the skin instead of just affecting the epidermis like most other chemical peels do. VI Peel should only be applied by a registered nurses (RN) or a physician, but not an aesthetician.
A single VI Peel treatment will be enough to create visible results. Other types of chemical peels can be painful, but that "beauty is pain" principle is now obsolete because VI Peel provides a solution with minimal discomfort.
The treatment is not completely painless, there is a tingling at first, until the numbing agent kicks in.
The first week activities are restricted so the patient avoids excessive heat or exercise.
With each peel you get a complete skin care package for healing.
Shortly after the treatment, the skin of the patient might be a bit red or tan. That does not last for very long, and in the first two days, there will be no signs visible. On day 3 the patient begins to peel, but all of that can be easily hidden with a moisturizer. In no more than a week, the peeling is complete and the aesthetic improvements should be evident! After the treatment, there are no restrictions, so you can feel free to continue with your daily activities.
